These terms cover your use of LenguaZen, including the website, the iOS app and the browser extension. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
You need an email address to sign up, and you must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep access to your email secure. One account is for one person.
Monthly and annual plans start with a 7-day free trial. You enter a card at checkout. We email you before the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged. If you don't, the card is charged when the trial ends and the plan renews from then on.
Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, receipts and sales tax. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings or the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Lifetime is a one-time payment with no renewal.
If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal.
If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will sort it out, including a refund where it is fair. Nothing here affects your rights under consumer law.
Lifetime gives you the Pro feature set for as long as LenguaZen runs. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and a way to export your data.
Each plan includes usage limits on features such as transcription and AI requests, shown on the pricing page. We may slow down or pause access for use that is clearly automated or abusive.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close a paid account for reasons other than a breach, we will refund the unused part of the current period.
Journal entries, saved words and anything else you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, including sending text to our AI provider for translations and corrections.
Videos, podcasts and books you add come from third parties. They stay subject to their owners' terms, and we don't claim any rights to them.
Translations, corrections, explanations and other AI output can be wrong. Treat them as a study aid, not as an authority.
We work to keep LenguaZen running and improving, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using LenguaZen at any time. To delete your account and its data, email us.
If we make significant changes, we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use LenguaZen after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
